The Member Facilitator is responsible for welcoming and greeting members for the class, signing them in and out of the class and verifying their registration information by collecting member/Gateway ID number.  For Online Classes, Member Facilitator will assist participants with Zoom setup, and support class Instructor(s) to ensure the class runs smoothly and successfully and that all attendees have a good experience. Facilitators will be paid $15 per hour and are independent contractors with the SEIU METC.

Qualifications for Member Facilitator include:
• Member of SEIU HCIIMK in good standing who has worked as a CCAP home child care provider in the last 12 months.
• Participates in Union activities and demonstrates leadership.
• Must be comfortable with using ZOOM technology, have a reliable device and internet connection. METC will assist with tutorials on all the required technology
• To communicate remotely with workers, the facilitator will need to have a quiet room or space from which to work that is well lit
• Although having completed a previous internship is a plus, it is not required
